We keep record of the associated due dates and smoke alarm expiry dates to alleviate real estate agents and landlords of this obligation.

 

Included is an electrical safety certificate and a report which is emailed, detailing any works required or conducted.

 

Smoke Alarm Maintenance

​

•  Check smoke alarms are permanently connected to mains power

•  Ensure smoke alarm locations comply with the Building Code of Australia

•  Ensure smoke alarms are less than 10 years old

•  Cleaning of alarm vents

•  Smoke and decibel testing

•  Replacement of 9V batteries

 

RCD Maintenance

•  Check correct number of RCD’s are installed as per AS/NZS 3000:2018

•  Ensure RCD’s operate when tested

•  Ensure tripping times don’t exceed the limits specified in AS/NZS 3000:2018

Usually conducted when landlords first lease their home, then the annual maintenance service can be conducted thereafter.

•  Detailed photographic report and safety certificate supplied
